Minnesota Vikings and Ticketmaster Expand Ticketing Relationship

In an expansion of their current relationship, the Minnesota Vikings have selected Ticketmaster, the world's leading ticketing company, as the team's official secondary market provider for Vikings season ticket owners and fans. Under terms of the extended multi-year agreement, the Vikings announced they will implement the TicketExchange re-sale service for their season ticket owners and fans as part of the ticketing services the team currently receives from Ticketmaster.

TicketExchange will allow Vikings season ticket owners, through, to post tickets for sale to other fans for games they are unable to attend. will serve as the team's only authorized resale site for valid tickets to Vikings games in a secure online environment powered by Ticketmaster. Fans purchasing tickets through TicketExchange may select to have their tickets delivered by carrier service or online via TicketFast -- Ticketmaster's ticket forwarding technology.

Another added benefit for Vikings fans will be the team's installation of Ticketmaster's AccessManager entry control system, enabling the Metrodome to scan bar-coded game tickets for validity, monitor entry traffic, authenticate admissions and help eliminate wrong day or counterfeit tickets. AccessManager will help expedite patrons' entry into the Metrodome, as well as allow fans to download and print tickets from their computer.

The Vikings are supporting the expanded relationship with a variety of promotion initiatives including renaming their recently completed in-stadium Terrace Suite II the "TicketExchange Touchdown Club."
