North American Football League Selects Ticketmaster's TicketWeb; Agreement for Enhanced Ticketing and Marketing Services

In a groundbreaking move for the North American Football League (NAFL), it announced today that it has selected TicketWeb™, a service of Ticketmaster, as the League's authorized ticketing provider. Under the multi-year agreement, TicketWeb will provide online ticketing services for NAFL games as well as advance ticketing services for NAFL teams.

"This is a big deal for us," said NAFL President, Rob Licopoli. "This is the first of several strategic moves that will demonstrate the buying power of the NAFL. Our immediate fan base represents over $3.7 billion in consumer spending and we have identified 50 industries that we want to tap into and this is one of them. This deal has the potential to generate over $5.6 million in ticket sales for the NAFL."

NAFL's official season kicked off July 9 and the league's Championship game will be played at Disney's Wide World of Sports Complex on November 12, 2005.
