Privacy Policy

IAC Inc. (“IAC” or “we” or “us”) cares about your privacy. When you use IAC.com (the “Site”) we may collect personal information about you. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, who else may receive it, and the tracking technologies we use. If we make any changes to our privacy practices, we will post a revised Privacy Policy on this page. Any revised policy will apply as of the effective date listed at the top of the Privacy Policy.

This Privacy Policy does not apply to websites operated by IAC’s Brands. Each IAC Brand uses a different privacy policy, and you should review each brand’s privacy policy for more details.

1. PERSONAL INFORMATION YOU SUBMIT

You may choose to send us business communications through the email addresses listed on the Site. Such email addresses are provided solely for business communications. We may use emails that you send to us for any business purpose, including communicating with you, and we may disclose such correspondence with our affiliates and other parties that may have a business interest in such communications. We do not sell your personal information to others.

You may choose to apply for a position at IAC or one of our brands. If you do, your personal information may be submitted through a career portal operated by our vendor and will be given to us. When you submit personal information to someone else, you are subject to their terms of use and privacy policies, for which we are not responsible. We may further share your job application with any of our brands that might have a relevant position for you. We (and our brands) will only use the personal information in your job application for employment-related purposes.

2. INFORMATION WE COLLECT AUTOMATICALLY

When you visit the Site, we automatically collect and store information about your computer or mobile device and your activities using tracking technologies, such as cookies – small text files placed on your device to recognize your device and provide information about your use of the Site. This information may include your IP address; technical information about your computer or mobile device (for example, web browser type, operating system type, and/or unique identifier); the URL of the last page you visited before visiting the Site; the queries you submitted on the Site and results you selected; and how long you visited the Site and what features you used. We may use this information for internal purposes related to the operation of the Site, including website optimization, and we may disclose aggregated or anonymized Site visitor data to others.

Third-party tracking technologies, including cookies, may also be used on our Site to collect data. For example, we use Google Analytics cookies to track your activities to help us understand how the Site is being used. For more information on how Google Analytics uses data collected through the Site, visit www.google.com/policies/privacy/partners. To opt out of Google Analytics cookies, you may use the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, available at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. To find out more about how other companies manage the privacy of personal information in conjunction with online advertising and how to opt out of data collection, visit youradchoices.com/control and optout.networkadvertising.org.

Your web browser also may have settings that allow you to transmit a “Do Not Track” signal when you visit various websites or use online services. Like many websites, the Site is not designed to respond to “Do Not Track” signals received from browsers. To learn more about “Do Not Track” signals, visit www.allaboutdnt.com.

3. LEGAL COMPLIANCE

We may disclose your information to third parties in response to a legally binding request, such as a subpoena, court order, or government demand; to detect, investigate, or report illegal activity; to cooperate with public authority investigations; or to enforce our rights or those of others or to defend claims. We may also transfer your information to another party if we or any of our brands are involved in a corporate restructuring, such as a sale or merger.

4. INFORMATION FROM USERS OUTSIDE THE UNITED STATES

If you are outside of the United States, when you use our Site your information is being sent to and stored in the United States where our servers are located. Laws protecting your personal information in the United States may differ from those where you are located. By using the Site, you agree to the information collection, use, and sharing practices described in this Privacy Policy.

If you are not at least 16 years old, we ask that you do not use our Site or send other personal information to us.
