“Not Your Ordinary Internship” IAC Fellows Named an Anthem Awards Bronze Winner
-IAC Fellows recognized for helping to unleash the potential of a new generation of leaders
NEW YORK, Jan. 30, 2024—IAC announced today that the IAC Fellows Program is a Bronze Winner in the Community Engagement - Education, Art & Culture Category for The 3rd Annual Anthem Awards. IAC Fellows is an immersive internship program that breaks down barriers to opportunity for high-achieving students from historically and systematically underrepresented communities.
This year’s Anthem Award Winners were selected from a pool of over 2,000 submissions from 44 countries by the International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences (IADAS). Anthem judges are intellectually diverse leaders from across the impact industry with expertise that spans across the Anthem cause areas.
“Born from IAC’s 25-year history of investing in and working with students in NYC communities, the Fellows program is truly as unique as it is impactful,” said Suzanne Kennedy Director of the Office of the Chairman, Head of Philanthropic Giving for IAC. “We’re honored to be recognized by the Anthem Awards as we look forward to another year ahead with our 2024 Fellows.”
For nearly 30 years, IAC’s leadership philosophy long favored passion over pedigree, building a better world over building a resume. Launched in 2019, IAC Fellows brings this idea to life. Unlike typical internship programs that can merely provide training or a line on a resume, IAC Fellows strives to make a real impact by helping high achieving students become galvanizing forces in our society. The program engages the student through paid internships across IAC’s portfolio, various financial resources, unique educational and cultural field trips, and opportunities to build lasting relationships. Should a Fellow accept a position at IAC upon graduation, IAC will pay 100% of their student debt after several years of employment.
